Here at Wichita First Church of the Nazarene, we have taken the call to share the gospel with the whole world very seriously. For over 30 years, we have been involved in the Work and Witness program of the Church of the Nazarene.
Work and Witness projects are teams of people who give their time and money to go into underprivileged world areas to share the gospel through working mission projects. We’ve completed approximately 100 projects in many world areas, on every continent.
In February 2010, we went to Peru and constructed a new church and added an addition to an existing church. In October 2010, we sent a team to Haiti to help rebuild in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake. In July 2011, we went to Guatemala to dedicate a church and build a parsonage in honor of Fletcher Brennis.
