Wichita First Church of the Nazarene has a great privilege to serve kids in every walk of life. The goal of the entire kids staff is to provide them with top-notch care, keep them safe and help them begin their walk with Jesus Christ. It is never too early to start teaching about the love of God, and all the children under our care will experience that love firsthand.

We have multiple areas for the children and a wonderful staff that all have proper background screening to make sure our kids are safe.

Nursery Rooms

Nurseries are located on the lower level (east of the main sanctuary) and open 15 minutes prior to services on Sundays and Wednesdays and close 15 minutes after the conclusion of the service. Nursery is available for special events as well.
Infant Room: birth – 12 months
Toddler: I 12 -18 months
Toddler II 18 mo – 2 1/2 years

Nursing Moms

We have a “Nursing Mothers” room located on the lower level of the East Wing. It is staged with comfy chairs, a changing table and a monitor with a direct feed to the worship service.

Staff Screening

The safety and security of children is very important at Wichita First Church of the Nazarene. The volunteers and staff undergo an application and screening process through the National Screening Bureau before ministering to the youngest among us.

Involvement opportunities
We are ever seeking for new volunteers to be involved in the lives of our children. If you are interested being part of our volunteer staff, please talk to Pastor Paul, Amy Roberts or Leslie Knapp. You can volunteer on a weekly, bi-monthly, monthly or quarterly basis.

Parental involvement/volunteering is encouraged
